TEXAS JUNIOR ANGUS STATE SHOW
June 3rd - 6thth = Texas Junior Angus State Show, Bell County Expo Center Belton, TX
The officers of this Association shall be elected by ballot or show of hands at the meeting of the Texas Junior Angus Association held in association with the annual meeting. The candidate must fill out an application posted on the Texas Junior Angus Association website. The application must be postmarked by January 2 to the vice president. Officers shall be elected for a term of one (1) year, or until their successors are elected and qualified and assume the duties of their office at the closing of the annual Fort Worth banquet. To be an officer you must have served as a director for one (1) year and be at least in the 8th grade or of high levels for any officer position. Officer positions of President, 1st Vice President, and 2nd Vice President candidates should have received their National Jr. Angus Association Bronze & Silver Awards prior to elections.
The advisors will be elected for a term of three (3) years. The advisors shall agree among themselves who will serve as lead advisors. Those interested in running for advisor must fill out an application posted on the Texas Junior Angus Association website. The application must be postmarked by January 2 to designated advisor. Nominees will be voted on by the junior members at the same meeting where the officers and directors are elected.
