Wolfe Family ScholarshipThe Wolfe Family began showing Angus Cattle with their son, Derek Wolfe. Because of the positive impact the TJAA made in Derek’s life, he and his parents decided to give back to the TJAA through a scholarship for graduating seniors. The scholarship offers $1000 to a current TJAA member who is planning to attend college or technical school in the fall. Mike Christian ScholarshipMike Christian and Family have been long time supporters of the TJAA. Mike is a familiar face to most exhibitors because he has announced our State TJAA Show for several years. He can always be found helping lead our Sunday Morning TJAA Church in The Stands at State Show also. He serves as a director on the Texas Angus Association Board and has raised Angus Cattle for many years. Each year he offers a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is a current TJAA member in the amount of $1000. Green Wall ScholarshipThe Green Wall Scholarship fund has been set-up from proceeds of sales of the historic green walls that came out of the Ft Worth cattle barns. The scholarship was developed by Joe and Kim Garcia who have been active past members of the Jr Angus and Shorthorn associations for several years, when their children were involved. This year the Green Wall Scholarship Fund is offering TJAA members two wonderful scholarship opportunities. One for graduating high school students and one for a current college student. The scholarship is $625 for a graduating high school student and $625 for a college/technical school student who is a current TJAA member. Application forms are available on the TJAA website: texasjuniorangus.org and must be postmarked or emailed by June 1st, 2019.
